FIRM DIRECTOR
FIRM DIRECTOR 2023-2024
As the firm director, I led 3 account executives, inspired 19 upcoming PR professionals, and served as the right hand to the firm advisor.
I had 5 meetings a week, (in addition to client meetings) consisting of firm expectations/goals, personalized coaching, and maintaining the integrity of Top Dog Communication with the firm advisor. If there were questions about TDC or an event was held inviting the firm, I was the representative and main point of contact. This allowed me to grow my organizational and personable skills.
Along with aiding in the guidance of 3 campaigns, I ran the weekly Monday night Applied Public Relations class from 6 P.M. - 8:50 P.M. I created the syllabus for the class and held AP style and current event quizzes. I led design and writing workshops as well.
With my role, I decided to create a social media presence for TDC. Personally, it was important for me that the agency had this necessity in the world of communication and PR. I ran the official Instagram page, as well as the official website.
My dedication to upholding tradition but still taking risks, leading by example, and tackling a variety of roles allowed me to win the "Outstanding Student in Top Dog Communication," in April 2024. This award is given by the department of communication at the University of Indianapolis.
